This method
produces quantitative endotoxin data, a significant advantage over the gel-clot
method, which allows only pass/fail results. Trend analysis of
endotoxin data is therefore possible to allow "early warning" of problems.
This method is also more sensitive than gel-clot techniques, with a
sensitivity down to 0.001 endotoxin units (EU)/ml.
This allows us
to offer
-
Quantified
data (not simply pass/fail)
-
A wide test range
to suit the client from as low as 0.001EU/ml
-
Full compliance with USP chapter <85>
and PhEur/EP section 2.6.14 methodology for Bacterial Endotoxin testing, and cGMP requirements/HTM
2030 and HTM 2031
-
Turnaround of samples within 24
hours
Our sampling and transport procedures are validated
for samples taken within or outside of the U.K.. We offer clients an on-site sampling
service backed up by collection either by our own transport or by courier.
